Hi there,

I am in the processes of a serious engine bay tidy up

See thread - http://www.theminifo...e-noddy/page-16

I have repainted, cleaned, powder coated...... Ect ect. However having come to fit the plastic type master cylinder, and washer bottle. The yellow ness of the plastic really let's it down. Is there a way or a product for returning it back to white?

Thanks

Matt

Hi

I have heard that hydrogen peroxide and an ultra violet light works wonders.  But it has to be concentrated hydrogen peroxide for it to work.  I think hair bleaching products use pretty concentrated peroxide.

I have tried bathroom bleach and a tough scrubbing and it got a little whiter, but nothing to write home about.

I've heard of restorers cleaning windscreen washer bottles and the like with Milton sterilising fluid or tablets.  They leave them to soak overnight......
