Always had a soft spot for clubby estates.

Lovely car, engine is looking very nice indeed, twin carb manifold looks sexy!

I also love your wheel collection!

Ed

Thanks for kind words, the thread has been a little quiet of recent, hopefully this engine will be in the car before to long! Seriously missing driving him on the odd nice day we are having at the moment.

It wasn't supposed be quite the project it has become :)

But the wheel in the picture is a springalex one, an aftermarket brand that was very popular with fords.

This post has also got a question with it, but I'll get to that!!!

So the engine is looking ever more like an engine,

E7ABFF78-C7F6-4153-9174-673EB7300981_zps

So the question, I know I'll need a pulley and a spacer, however the fan is not central to the cowling. Any ideas why this could be so, and or, the best way to rectify it.

Thanks dude, yes I am a big fan of the subtle look. I don't want noddy to look too modified, just have a load more torques to play with :)

looks very nice , as for the radiator alignment ,i would push the bottom of the radiator backwards slightly whilst bolted to the lower mount to centralise it (towards bulkhead if fitted in car) the bracket may be slightly out of shape hence the offset , i presume it has equal clearance top and bottom of the cowl  ?

regards dav
