Ok two things. Firstly, the best way to test for a leak and where moisture can be getting in. I have heard of people letting off some kind of smoke device inside the car and watching where it escapes. Provided its a dark coloured smoke, this should be easy enough? What is the best thing to use for the smoke.

Edit: Scrap the stereo bit.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Take different coloured inks, washable obviously, and leave little spots in various areas prone to leak. Then hose the car all over. You can see what colours, or what colour mixes, end up inside. Only really good if the shell is bare though.
