Hi all,

I'm having trouble getting the diff housing to split because there is this one corner that seems to have moulded itself together...

Any suggestions??

Thanks,

Iain.

Heat it up locally with a butane torch.

I would get that screwdriver out! you will damage the mating surfaces and it may lead to leaking when you reassemble.

Heat should help though with a few blows with a copper mallet or block of wood and regular hammer.

I had this with mine!

Good luck

Ben

rubber mallet helps I would stay away from pry bars or screwdrivers as any damage to the alloy faces could lead to leaks. Stick with it and it will come apart :)

Too slow - snap
