got fairly new sw5 for my spare engine
will I be happy with it compared to my mg metro
cam in the engine in the car now

there about the same realy.......the metro will start to move at lower revs compared to sw5............

Nope the sw5 will have more low down torque with the same top end when using the same rocker ratio.
