If you have a LCB then the 2-1 pipe connection could be your source of the fumes, or a split LCB pipe in the Y.Both these could be your issue of a hole somewhere on the pipe. If you dont have a LCB then a fracture/hole. Have a look underneath and see if you see any tell tale black soot marks
Mini's generally whiff a bit but you do seem to have a problem - check that exhaust thoroughly - not forgetting the join of manifold to head.If you've got centre clocks then it's generally much more noticeable - once you've found the problem it's worth checking the binnacle is sealed in properly and / or if you've got the offset instrument cluster make sure all the bulkhead grommets are present and in good condition.......If you drive it in he meantime make sure the windows are open!!

Yes, seems to be a leak on the LCB and the centre pipe, have you put oil in the carb to make it smoke to find the leak? or is it blue out the exhaust at the back ?

At the risk of sounding stupid... No I'd don't put any oil on the carbs or know how to do it. It's my first mini and the first time I've started to play with a car:(

The leak appears to be blue indicating the engine is burning oil ??
