B&Q 4 1/2" Performance Power 600W for £19.98. Had one for a good few years, copes well with occasional use. Wouldn't spend much more if you're not needing it everyday.

B&Q own brand do the job and they are cheap. Got four on the go at the moment.
Must be noisy in your place!

I don't know if they do angle grinders but I've always found Wickes own brand power tools to be ok, they come with a 3 year guarantee, so my view on it is if it breaks in the next three years I get a new one for free, if it lasts longer it was really cheap anyway and pretty good value.

Clarke make good quality home use tools, but I've got my dads old one, a Makita. Its about 20 years old and still going strong.

i have a makita angle grinder, they body small and tight around the disc area so you can get it into tighter areas, also the body is not to big so easy to hold in your hand, but like said they are about £50.
if you want one to do a job just get a the B&Q grinder.
