Choke cable on a DCOE is seperate and attaches to the choke lever, standard mini choke cable works fine

no there is a pinch nipple on the front of the DCOE to feed the choke cable through - note some people remove the cold start mech (choke mech in old money) so yours may be missing

Don't bother with the cold start mechanism (Choke) Most people running a DCOE don't use them at all, as they tend to foul the plugs instantly.
The car will start fine you just need to baby it for a coupe of minutes on the first start of the day.
