The current book says 10deg is preferred but up to 45deg is acceptable..
I think people are getting far to worried about this...

45 degrees was and is acceptable and, I can confirm from accident experience, is fine.
If it is nor right the scrutineers at the first event you do will be quick to tell you!

I got these from the mk1 conversions website. Things sure have changed since the 60's.
