het im looking around for a quote for a 1275cc engine/ gearbox fully fitted, just wondering if anyone has an idea of the cost, and if anyone has anywhere they can recomend within the kent area? salvargio

You could be looking at anything from £50 - £200 for a 2nd hand unit, depending on the condition. If you're after new then how long is a piece of string! Could be talking big money. Fitting costs you would probably be looking at a day's labour at the very least. That obviously depends on the garage's hourly rates.

I got mine from a metro i bought, sold the rest for spares and im not far from making a profit with a few more things still to go. Just have a look on ebay you'll find one they're always going through.
