998 on a 1098 gear box.

Im building a new engine, as I blew my old 1100 up this is just a tempary engine, this is the spec:

998 head, port and polished.
998 block.
flat top omega pistons.
strengthened con rods.
1100 gear box.
cross pin diff. (if i can afford it!)
new ingition system.
stage 1 kit.
2 core rad.
double valve springs.

What will the 998 be like with the 1098 gear box?

well the only fifferance will be the final drive ratio.

It'll be fine if that's what you are asking

The gearbox would be able to manage and put the power down better :P

got some in-expensive x-pins at the mo if interested, do one for 120
