im guessing if you use the normal mini clocks you can just attach the speedo cable from the micra somehow to the back of the mini clock? if the readings are off you could get the speedo calibrated to match? I'm going to use 10" rims so probably not very accurate to standard micra output.

My Micra had an electronic speedo so no cable. I've got a Smiths International speedo to see if I can get it working from the Micra sender when I get to that point but if not then I'll add a pickup to a rotating part like a CV/Driveshaft.

awesome, keep us posted. I've not found what they do in Trinidad with this, or do they just entirely use the micra dash?

You can swap the electronic speed sensor for a mechanical drive, then just use the Micra cable. I had to file a new grove on the mini clocks for the baynet to attach securely.

I should maybe have added that I'm doing it in a GTM so I'd need a speedo cable about three miles long.

It's also the same reason that I'm converting the Micra's clutch operation to hydraulic.
