Does engine size matter in regards to head. My mini is ******* up. It's a mpi car running a HIF44. It's seems to have a older block but an mpi head. It's also bored to 1380cc. If I get a mpi head 1275. Do I need to bore the head at all?

All standard 1275 head castings have the same chamber volume of roughly 21.4cc. So it doesn't matter in this respect what casting you begin with.
What do you mean by "bore the head out" ?
