The previous owner of the mini has installed a Facet Fuel pump in the engine bay high up on the bulkhead (about the same height as the fuse box)

Is this ok or can this be causing fuel issues? (when disconnected from the carb the pipe is hardly pushing any fuel out)

Also fuel pipe is going everywhere.... It comes up into a glass filter mounted vertical on the bulk head, Loops around to the bottom of the pump, then to the fuel pressure regulator and then loops above the carb and into the side as you can see in this picture to the right of the carb -

The link to your pic doesn't work.  Sounds like you need to do a bit of tidying!

Facet pumps are designed to be under the tank.

As Dan says, the Facet pump is designed to 'push' the fuel, rather than 'pull' it, so it must be mounted so that it is gravity fed from the tank.

Best place is bolted under the rear seat horizontal panel inside the LH side of the rear sub-frame. I run 2 such pumps in parallel so that if one fails the car will still run as normal. For the additional cost it is worth it for good reliability.

Just move it to the back and it will be fine I'm sure.

That looks like a nice Mini.

Thanks, its clean but its being a complete pain to get running right lol... Im guessing this is why the owner wanted to trailer it to us for free...

Sorry... I posted to your other thread before seeing you started a new one.

As above, move the Facet pump to the rear of the car.  Mount it on a plate attached to the subframe under the LH fuel tank so it operates as a pusher.  That is where the early cars mounted their electric SU brand pumps.  As I mentioned in your other thread, pumps work best as gravity fed pushers rather than relying on their suction side pulling the fuel.  Mounting this type of Facet pump in the front of the car and up higher than the tank(s) is not a good idea at all.

When you remove the pump from the bulkhead, plumb it up with short lengths of hose and test it as shown in the video link you posted to your other thread.  Make sure this pump works before you take the time to install it at the rear, under the fuel tank.

Fit it under the tank, ill post a pic of where mine is mounted. Replace the pump if youre not low on budget, the pump has probably been running 'dry' wich is not very good..

Would fit it a bit more to the right if you can, that will make fitting of the bolts less fidely :) But still doable though ;)

I wouldn't worry about having run a cube pump dry really, they don't have diaphragms or anything in. As shown above though they are meant to be mounted at 45 degrees. 6 feet from the tank, above the fuel level, and fitted vertically, yours has no chance really!
