They aren't genuine nuts for Exactons (no 'I' in Exacton!). The real nuts are open right through and just plain steel. Those nuts don't look like they will take the rubber covers.

The wheels were not only used on the 1100 special, they aren't rare.

I couldn't give a set of Exactons away a few years back, they went to the dump!

Think minispares have them in stock. Just typed special wheel nuts in the search and they popped up.

Bit cheaper here, but again they aren't the original ones. Good if you don't want to source the wheel nut caps.

Am i right in thinking that the mini 25 wheel nuts are the same as the 1100 special ones? They certainly look the same and also have the black wheel nut covers. I have them on my 25.

the nuts i think you need for those exacton alloys is the one in the middle in the picture in this link, but the ones on the right will be fine without the plastic cover to make it look pretty.

i agree with whoever it was that said you hadnt used to be able to give them away, i have had a few sets, but i used to see them at shows for about £25 for 4!
