Hello,

My Mini's sick and i feel like I'm going round in circles it all started a few weeks back,

all of a sudden the car just cranked really slow so i figured battery as it gets use but not a lot (at the min)

so i tried jumpstarting it with my magic yellow box and it worked once i got stuck in a car park :/ managed to bump start is when i got home i

switched my C2 battery over problem but persisted :(

so not the battery then.

then i proceeded to test the starter by getting a screw driver (with a plastic handle) and joining the permanent live with the switched live, seemed to work ok

tried to start the car and boom it worked went for a little drive came back left it for a little bit and again it started :) went round my friends came back, no problems.

BUT then come to fit my newly acquired brake conversion this morning and bang back to square one slowly turning over :/ ahhhhhhh

is there any where else i should be checking am i just being blind

could it be that the starter is just past its best?

the fuelling is /should be fine (just set it up) and when it decides it wants to crank fast/normally it fires

the earths seem to be ok just from a quick visual, when it stops raining i'm going to whip them off and scrub them up see if that does anything.

just wasn't sure if i was missing something obvious haha or if somebody has had the same happen

i hate electrics
