I've asked this before but anyone else using these? Worth the money? Seem like an awesome concept

Worth it yes. Installation reasonably easy. Mine are Version 2.5. Link below to photos.

Minivation has a no drill Version 3 coming out that uses the original bracket with a piston to keep it open.

They also have the V2.5 on sale. Except the price from Minispares is less.

I have fitted a set to mine. They were ok to fit bit feel a bit 'odd' in operation, its hard to explain but there feels like there is a lot of play when there isn't. The improved access is useful but not as good as I hoped. Would I bother again? Not sure really, they aren't cheap.

Those v3 mini action ones look superb, the bonnet goes much higher than mine does.

I would, the amount of lift seems about 20 degrees more than I have and the lack of hassle fitting would also be worth it. Those two things are a game changer in my mind.

I have the quick release hinges on mine ( i think thats they are called) the previous owner had fitted them ... bonnet comes off in seconds but needs a buckle thing on the front to stop as a fail safe... the down side is the bonnet slides around i find

Cheers james
