Hi everyone
needed some advice on my 1998 cooper sport, its idling at around 2000 and keeps blowing idle control valves. I've changed the exhaust/inlet manifold gasket, bought 3 replacement IACV's and every time the car blows the bottom bracket (mounting point to the inlet). it seems to blow the bottom part of the bracket clean off at the L section where the hose attaches and feeds to the top of the throttle body.
does anyone have any idea why this is happening?, positive something isnt right. but the car idles and runs fine for the first 10-15 miles then blows the bracket. I've tried different sensors and had the same result every time.
help me out here guys :)
