I too have had comments removed without contact or marking up the original post which can lead to confussion or contempt.

 

If this is the new regine of the TMF to remove comments?

 

Rather than just deleting the comments that the members have added on their forum could mods please add a comment like "Inappropriate comments removed" or simular as a minimum of common decency or issue a warning if rules have been broken?

 

Who is 'paid up'?

Nobody on TMF pays for membership.

 

What is TMF+ then? Free?

Yep I choose not to as I am a long term member I dont need the other benefits on offer.

 

It is a bit like it isn't compulsary to be old enough to drive to be a member of the mini forum.

No it's not free, but it's also not 'membership to TMF'. It's a discounts package.

 

So why is it called TMF+ Member?

 

Is that what it is called for taxable purposes?

Of course it's not for tax purposes. It's just a discount scheme. of which you can become a member by payimg a fiver.

It's just a word 'member'. The point is that it doesn't make you a paid of member of TMF(the forum as a whole). It makes you a paid up member of the TMF+ scheme. That membership scheme has nothing to do with how the forum is run. Even I (and all the rest of the team) pay the same fiver to be TMF+ members.

Exactly... Im not currently a tmf+ member although have been in the past as my mini is sat under a cover and hasnt even been touched for months but when i do dig it out again and start playing about with it im sure i will want the discounts again so will then sign up for it.
