Just a bit concerned that a few of you think it may be overpriced, think I'll try to get the price down first and see what he says.

I couldnt see the green one on autotrader...
But the blue one ('97 R) does come with 1 years MOT and 6 months tax, and new tyres and brakes, which is good for you being your first car - hopefully a years trouble free motoring.
However, the green one does have much lower milage, see how you feel about the colour when you have a look!
Prices do seem a fraction too high (especially for the higher milage one), see what you can haggle him down to.
Nice pic by the way! (of the mini of course

The 25 never had a folding roof even as option so must have been fitted at a later date.
well altho i am in no way close to working out whether mine is factory fitted, i have read that a ahndful were made with the folding roof as a test, but it was soon decided that they wouldnt continue it. so mine may be one fo those, ill try and track done where i saw it
I stand corrected, although if it was factory fitted it might be the only one.
Mum was a girl racer about 25 years ago and had a brand new PINK mini special.........the floor leaked from the day she got it
Those are becoming very rare now, and looks as if leaks did come as standard. LOl

Theres some on Autotrader / Ebay / miniworld etc 97-99 cars asking £5k+ :|
to be honest I think I we offer 2.5 hes going to tell us to pi55 off!! lol
3k is a lot for a mini - it will have to be good to be worth that - the newer ones rust just as much as the old ones, so theres no real reason for them being that much more expensive. not that i'm trying to put you off! both of mine came from ebay - my 20 year old saloon was a grand, and i have had no problems at all with it really. good luck in the search!
I see what your saying but we dont really want an old car thats needing lots spent!!
I'll see how this one is & report back!!
