Yeah I was thinking that although it does seem to be mainly surface rust so hoping I can wire brush the worst off then treat it ... just happy that the exhaust isnt scraping the ground anymore at the moment :) lol

It's a shame that you can't get the car up on a ramp, it makes scrapping all the crud and rust off so much easier.
It's a bit of a pig of a job, when your'e laying on your back underneath the car getting covered in crap!!!!!

Yeah I can imagine, might have to invest in a face mask and some googles when my back is killing and I can crawl around under it again. Didn't realise just how out of shape I am :\ although it helps build the confidence in working on the car I suppose :)

 

Any plans on when the next cake tasting is going to take place? lol

Come on my last cake Damian brought round was pretty shoddy used duck eggs and made it crispy so don't think I'll be using them again!

You'll end up regretting that offer. Although not as much as my bank balance is regretting me getting a mini :\

 

I'm free most nights except for when I am putting myself through the pain and suffering of watching England try and play football for a meet ... the idea of a work night sounds intriging

To be fair at least there was some encouraging signs and what looked like some fight in some of the players ... be interesting to see what they do from here
