Really was good meet other night. Lady in pub was so happy we was back as she really thought after what happened that we would not be. So up to people if we stay and hopefully that was one off! I'll always go with majority
We never got around to discussing club names.

I really have some good ideas and would love to watch this meet grow so please can we push for this. If things go well I will look in to getting stickers etc... Made. BUT we need a name so come on get those thinking hats on.

Sorry to jump in on this thread, but on Sunday 26 April, it's Drive it Day when all classic car owners are encouraged to bring them out of hibernation and drive them. I am organising a run for mini's around the castles of Kent, probably ending up at Scotney Castle. we have found in past years that it is also obligatory to visit a vineyard and make some alcoholic purchases. Lunch is normally a picnic at one of the stops, weather permitting. If anyone is interested please let me know and I'll add the details here.

The plan would be 10am meet on the Esplanade at Rochester Castle. The road is pay and display, but we shouldn't be there too long, then cross country route, no motorways to aylesford, which is a historic village and the on across Kent to Sissinghurst Castle Gardens which is about 20 miles. You can park in car park for a small fee without going into castle gardens. You can use gift shop, cafe and toilets for free. Then we'd go to lamberhurst vineyards. We should be able to picnic here, if not there is a local pub. Finally a short run up to Scotney castle. I know the events manager from when she ran Bewl Water and the Hop Farm, she may be prepared to put aside a small area. If anyone wanted to go around castle, it is about £14, but I think it will be a case of use the car park for a short while and then leave. The total run is around 35 miles.

It's not yet confirmed but on Monday 13th July 17.30-21.30 at polhill garden centre will be doing their classic car evening again. I'll keep eye as if you do want to have your car on show it's free entry but you will need ticket.
