Hi guys and maybe a few gals!

Complete newbie here who is collecting a 1996 mini Mayfair next Friday and can't sleep at night with excitement!

I'll do the hello post and put some pics on when I have the car.

I read a great post about using waxoyl on the internal panels and sills and what not to keep the car from rusting.

Mavis as my mini is known is in great condition and is well waxed in the boot from what I've seen and I dare say everywhere else is well done too.

I was just wondering how often you should do this?

Roll on a week on Friday.

Once a year should be sufficient. I normally tie it in with doing something else, service or mot prep for example.
