And I used to like you too......

Only reason is it was the first 'special' runout model that was extensively different from the standard car and didn't have too many computer controlled fail safes.  More of an analogue car if you will.  Rosso Corsa, with stripe, nero alcantara interior, tubi exhaust.  Done!

F430 Scuderias/ 458 Speciales just aren't the same with their super advanced computer controls, where the car drives you rather than the right way round..

It is the only car i've driven that I was too scared to look at the speedo as i was concentrating soooo much, but the sound of the engine in your ear when it comes on cam!!!!!!!!!  Big fan of the 360 when it came out and when i had the chance to jump in that, a lambo, an R8 or an Aston......Ferrari all the way!!!  The others just don't have the same appeal.  It was much bigger than i thought it would be but very nimble....as you'd expect i suppose.

I don't really have a 'dream' car.. I would get bored if I owned only one car.

I would like to have a range of different cars depending on my mood that day.

Ahhh but was it a challenge stradale?  Sounds like one of these experience days.  Would be very surprised if it was a stradale on one of those.

You've got me thinking now.....Just checked on the website and they've changed it to a 430 now so that doesn't help. From what I can remember it had flappy paddles (which were awesome - unlike others i've tried) and a very sparse interior with no carpets. Didn't have stripes up the centre of the car though, but that was an option anyway I assume (not to everyones taste).

I would love to have a 356 porsche speedster, when my baywindow camper is finished I could be tempted to sell it and build a replica from one of the better kits.

Something a bit more tangible from me: a Lotus Elise. No nonsense just simple British engineering, and it's one of the few convertibles that don't bring into question your sexuality.
