Thanks for the informative post. Will check all. Also the tip for rear toe adjustment.
Just for reference. All below are less than 6k miles (but of course isnt guaranteed to still be in good condsition)
Knuckles, ball joints, sus bushings, all subframe bushings.
Shocks were also checked 6k miles ago, moves freely up/down also stiffens/softens with knob adjustment.
Lol on imagination. But yeah i get what your saying. Very subjective and very hard to translate feeling into words.
Also im very open to suggestions, im in no way stuck to spring rates or chassis flex. Im in fact wishing its something stupid easy that im overlooking.

Knuckles, genuine at least, will still be good at 6k, even if driven very hard, as should everything else, so I do feel it is down to alignment only.
This may be way off the mark, but is your driver's seat secure? It suddenly occurrred to me that a seat that shifts on its mountings can cause all sorts of confusing impressions. I had that problem many years ago, but not in a Mini.

Funny you mention this. This did happen to me right after restoring the mini. The runners on my driver side had one locking runner and the other runner didnt. Did give a loose feeling. Swapped driver to passenger seat since that had double locking runners
But yes. My seats are secured.
