Yep, High compression 998 from early 70's, pre 1974
Hi again , cheers for the info , he seems a genuine chap and he told me it was 70's and been in his shed for 20 years or so , complete with everything on it , carb , starter , alternator ect , for £100 I think that's a good price , when you say hi compression I presume that's good , i'm going to strip it and I am wondering how far I should go up rating it , I want it ' eventually , to go in a mini i've yet to find , for every day use but with some oomph , uprated head , cam , exhoast , carb , but would it also benefit with some parts lightened and balanced , i'l probably think I've bit of more than I can chew within the first day or two , I,ve got all the time in the world , no rush , chris.
