You need to check with your bank. I needed to transfer £27k when I moved house. Turns out that Natwest only allow £20k in one day if doing it online and only £10k over the phone. It's their way to prevent money laundering

Turns out only £3000 could be done as a fast payment. Up to £25000 takes 24 hrs.
