Hi

Thanks. Yes it is a two dial without a rev counter so this explains all.

Hi I own 1983 mini Mayfair

After putting this task off for a few months- I finally bit the bullet and completed this task using sticky labels.

All went well considering. I can not account for two wires that come off the main wire that goes to the back of the speedometer binacle.

One is black and white with a female bullet connector, other is light green/orange- female connector in a black housing.

What are they? Where do they connect because I have nothing to connect them too! See pic.

Regards

Kaz

Have you got a 2 or 3 clock set up?

If it's a 2 clock, it could be for the rev counter.

Unfortunately my haynes manuals are on my other computer

They are rev counter connections

All >90 cars have them, the loom builder obviously installs this to all looms
