now then, i've recently aquired a 1987 mini mayfair without a clutch, but when fitting the new clutch everything was moving smoothly untill it came to bolting the whole clutch assembly onto the crank, i attempted screwing it in but to my surprise the thread inside the cranks are cross-threaded so the bolt wont go in.
is there any way of getting it to fit in or even just attatching the washer so the engine turns over, without having to re-thread it or get a new crank?!

please help me
dave
