Right shell is totally stripped now no wires nothing just a bare shell, so the start of the shell clean up is under way.
I was going to get the shell blasted but looking at what few bits there are it seems a bit overkill and I may regret it, sent somephotos through to my local blaster and they say tackle by hand with power tool would be their opinion sodecided to take that route.
Started on the subframe mounting point heel board and inner rear wheel arch and results are good.

Well at a spritley young 50 i am starting my last project car and its a classic Mini, originally a base 1000 in pagent blue but its going back to the shell and fresh paint and will just take it from there, at the moment its engine out time and the removal of said Maniflow 3 into 1 has been a Bstard to say the least, will update as we go.

Well I will ask if no-one else is going to; why is this your last project? I am 42 this year does that mean I have to stop doing projects soon?

Is it the back, knees or hands?

Jason

Not a lot to update on subframes are stripped and away at the plastic coaters, suspension kit ordered gone for the mini sport full adjustable set up with adj ties and bottom arms and then the gaz lowered shocks and HiLos , disc brake set up inc 4 pots ordered again mini sport mainly because I preferred their 4 pots to any others I saw, now on with laborious job of sanding the bits back and coating them with POR then primering them up to prevent moisture on them.
Need to get hold of one of those rotating frames so I can work on the floor without being on my back, anyoneknow where I can get one from ?
