Pulls the limiter in 4th, 128mph.

then its just asking for a 5 speed box

Would make no difference, its the final drive that i'd need to change if I wanted to go faster. The only 5 speeds i'd consider putting in it, KAD or Jack Knight have a 1:1 5th gear, just like 4th.

Or I could just wind the rev limiter up a bit, but its pretty frightening pulling 8500rpm in top gear......

8.5k!!! Jebus thats some revs, no wonder you can hear it so far away. Try for 140mph Lol, what revs would you need for that?

its a jack knight dog gear set on a 3.9fd.

The tell tale on the rev counter says i've actually pulled 8800, I think my rev limiter has packed in.

My brothers kad mini will pull 140mph, but he has 6 gears and more power and revs to 9200rpm.
