Hi there, I have a light modified 998, just inlet valve of 29mm, no cam nor rocker mods, complete exhaust and a twin hs2 with kn cone filter.

The problem is to find correct needle. right now if at idle is ok when driving is very poor, temp always high and sparks plug white.

Any suggestion?

As above, pull both needles out and see what markings are on them. They are stamped with 1 or 2 letters / numbers on the part which fits into the piston.

Can be a bother to get fixed needles out if they have been in for a while - suggest always put grease on ends when putting fixed needles back in the piston.

You also should check what springs you currently have fitted as they will affect mixture. They should both be same length, and likely to be either 'red' or 'blue' strength.
