Hi all,

Anybody used these before?

http://www.ebay.co.u...=item27e3b811ef

I'm unsure on whether to go for these or the standard plastic ones with 3D font.

Cheers,
Ian

pressed aluminium over standard plastic but on a classic I'd go for the proper 3D 70s style.http://www.tippersvi...document&part=3

the pressed ones look better on modern cars imo. I have the exact ones you linked on my golf.

+1. I've got the same 3D ones from that site which another member on here recommended me ready to go on my other mini. Then got the ones like in the ebay link on one of my civics

Blimey that was quick!

My cars a J reg, 92 I think.

I think I'll be going for the aluminium ones for the more classic look.

Cheers for the quick response,
Ian

I used craigsplates.com, really unless you have to send your docs off for them to check I'm not 100% certain on the legality side of things, but youll most probably be ok.

Aslong as the plates have correct marking on them, I had a set from the same supplier above on my eg civic and had no issues ever. was asked once and I politely told them they had the marking. Although would think if I had have been cheeky It would have caused more bother.

To the OP, be careful where you buy pressed plates, some of them aren't made very well and the letters peel back :(
