I'm looking to get a new exhaust to replace the standard one on my Sprite 1275 spi.

I have seen this Maniflow one that I like the look of. Do you agree it's suitable?

My car is automatic so I'm not looking for a stage one kit or anything, not sure the gearbox will handle too much extra power!

Never had a maniflow but they have a great reputation. I've got a cheap and cheerful side exit RC40 on my 95 Mayfair SPI. The performance is improved, has a nice note to it and economy is still good. Always had playmini exhausts on my minis and the Mayfair would look better with one but I quite like the RC40.

Rc40 single box, you will need the cat though for MOT purposes

I have a side exit maniflow fitted to my 1993 spi cooper. Fitted a treat. Nice noise but not excessive. Would definitely recommend.

I would go for the 13/4" exhaust as the one you are looking at is the larger 17/8" diameter which is not really necessary for your state of tune.
