What you could do to test it first is get a working twin manifold (preferably on a working car) and block the balance tube. See how well it runs before and after?

 

 

It might be a bit difficult to test it on a non working car ....

 

I'm not sure how you could easily block the balance pipe - but the results will be predictable if you do.

Hi..... I suppose the balance tube could be a piece of rubber pipe like the speedwell ones.... Just need to find the diameter of said pipe now ........ Instead of the s on the side on speedwell ones il put a j on mine....;0)
