Hi,

Please can anybody help me?

In short, I unplugged the ignition barrel loom plug in an attempt to take off a 12v feed, didn't work, so unplugged the indicator plug and found a 12v feed there.

Long story short, I got the 12v, finished off reassembly and then had nothing on key :(.

All the lights etc work, but nothing on the barrel :(

I've since removed the 12v feed and checked all the fuses (in the car) that I can find, nothing seems to be blown.

The car is 1997 and fitted with an ECU.

Does anybody have any idea why by simply unplugging some plugs, the ignition is dead?

Many thanks for any help you can give :)

Rob.

Sounds like something to do with the immobiliser rather than the ignition? Do a re-sync with the fob to rule out any sync issue - press the unlock (left) button on the fob 4 times in a row just to check.

Test the feed in and out of the switch, do you have a wiring diagram?
