Hi guys iv just bought a 93 Mini Cooper to restore was told the Ecu relay was faulty been idle for about 18 months.could anyone tell me if the dash lights would come on with ignition turned on or would nothing at all happen. Cheers for any help.

Dash lights cone on when you flight the lights switch, whether the ignition is on or not, the immobiliser light should be flashing, if it's a relay why not get a reader on it?

Do you mean the ignition light when you ask about "dash lights" ?
In the thread you posted in about relay pack functionality it tells you how to check this part out with a multimeter.
If you aren't getting the correct voltage to it you need to check your wiring and fusebox.
