It's more about the legalities.

 

With the forum being based on a UK server we have to abide by UK laws, therefore if we started allowing pornography on here then we'd have to make sure members were over 18 and that the level of pornography did not go too far.

 

Then there's the equality act...................

 

It's just not happening, there are loads of places where you can go and view pornography this is not and is not going to be one of them.

I was reading recently that adult websites (i.e those that show boobies & other naughty bits) now make up for over 50% of internet traffic, which just goes to show that there's already plenty of places to access online filth as it is, without us having to join in too. What's more if we did allow adult content here, then we'd also have to moderate it to ensure that it was acceptable and within forum rules etc. Now there's no way that my missus is ever going to believe that I'm "moderating" if she finds me trawling through pages of online smut on a regular basis!

Lets be honest.  There is a lot of stuff readily available on the internet if folk under 18 want it.  They wont come on a Mini Forum to find it

that's a great thing about TMF, you know its safe to open up at work. A lot of people have to be very careful now and 'it's only a mini forum' wouldn't help if the boss spots something dodgy.
