Weird situation I've got here. Whilst replacing the thermostat on my A+ 1275 I put the three studs back in and 2 out of three did up tight just fine but the third just wouldn't torque up correctly. The stud and it's threads are intact completely.....any ideas?

All good, previous owner used a shorter stud. Will get a replacement one of correct after the long weekend.
