ive only ever had 2 cars to be honest... theres my mini which i have now, but before that was an old punto which was tragic to drive. it handled like a cross channel ferry and had a hole in the exhaust most of the time i owned it so made me look a right chav haha. my mum has it now and uses it to pootle to the shops and back. it really is a terrible car but i can help but look at it with a little affection when ever i walk past it on my way to the garage to get the mini out

one car i do miss a lot though is my dads 2002 BMW. it had been in our family for donkeys years and he had restored it with my grandad. i remember being driven around in it when i was very little, and sliding around on the vinyl seats every time it went round a corner haha. it was a lovely car, but sadly had to be sold to make space for my mini, plus it had endless problems and my dad was getting a bit fed up with it. really wish we could have kept it, it was a lovely car.

this is the only pic i can find of it. taken the day i brought the mini home. it was sold the very next day

Way to many to list...two uno turbos, Renault 5 gt turbo, my little 850 mini, are at the top of my list.

The one I most regret was my 300zx...what a machine..twin turbo quad cam 24valve beast. imported from Japan with just 3k on the clock. It must have lived by the sea as all the plastic electrical connectors started to break up. Everything on that car was electrical hence many many breakdowns...gutted.

Regret selling my 2nd mini the most. Was my first mini on the road and loved it. Was horrible watching it drive away :( it was great condition when I sold it after having a light resto. I sold it with tax and test and that's the last time it was on the road. About 3/4 years now

I miss my Mk1 Golf GTi - only sold it as my Dad passed away (many years ago) and left me his stunning(????) Datsun Stanza.  Really regret selling my E30 BMW 325 4 yrs ago, she had a little bit of rust, nothing too bad, she had been lowered correctly and fitted with 17" Alpina replicas looked and handled fantasitically.  Sold it to a mate of mine who took it round the Nurburgring and loved it!  Unfortunately he emigrated and I didnt have room to keep her to buy her back >_<

I miss my first Mini - a 1979 850 Super. It was painted in the same colours as a Mini Sky but in negative.

My first car was a MkI Astra and I've often said I'd give good money if I found a good one but I've then passed a few up because I don't have the space.

I regret selling my Scimitar. It was a 1980 SE6a so the 3 litre Essex lump and a manual box with overdrive. I should have converted it to LPG rather than getting a diesel.

I've got a GTM Coupe that's hopefully going to be back on the road shortly that I wouldn't sell.

I go through phases with my MX5 - sometimes I love it but others I just feel bored with it and feel like I want to sell it. I probably will when the GTM is back on the road.

I also liked my Sierras culminating in a 2.0i Ghia that was everyday transport for a good few years (with a 2.1 and a Kent FR34 cam). I've got a 2.9 4x4 one sat in the unit at the moment to use as a donor vehicle for a Focus rally shell (Focos) that I've got sat on a transport frame. I'm not sure if I'll ever get around to that one though or if I'll just sell the bits I've amassed - I do fancy the idea of a 2.9V6 4x4 Focus though (especially since I've got 2 Cosworth V6 engines to choose from).

My 2.8i black Capri, and my 2.8 Ghia X Mk 2 Granada. Just couldn't afford to put petrol in them as earning next to nothing in those days (early 90s) and was saving to buy a house. That was the only reason I sold them. The granny was like driving around in an armchair but you could leave just about anyone standing at the lights. The Capri was just sooooo mental. I'd like another old grunty Ford V6. One day ...

My Mum's ex used to have granada's mostly Mk3's.

I remember when i was 10 and he first started seeing my mum, he had a silver 89 mk3 2.9i. I thought it was so special. It was the first time i had been in a car with leather interior and electric windows. A few years later he bought an 86 2.8i which was also great.

Looking back now though, they are nothing special especially compared to cars these days. The Mk2 is a bit of a cult classic and oh so cool.

He had a mk1 3.0 granada coupe which he bought to restore but it never happened and ended up going to a bloke who used it for banger racing :(

I miss so many of the cars I've had to sell over the years, but the ones which really hurt...

My 190E

My Jag

And not technically cars but...

My First Motorhome, a converted long wheel base renault master

And my last motorhome, which was way too "Breaking Bad" for my taste, but I loved the sound of that engine!

I wish I still had my 1976 Granada 3.0 Ghia Coupe which I bought in Jan 1977.

I also wish I still had my 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RST. When I sold it I thought I had a great deal, but one recently sold for £200k. Awesome car which I owned for 16 years as a 'fun' car.

It might be fun to still have my 1966 Cortina GT Mk.1 which I bought new. I remember going out in it the day England won the World Cup. It was great as the roads were deserted and I could really enjoy it!

Maybe I would like to have my first car which was a 1949 Ford V8 Pilot 3.6 litre (Google it!). It was truly horrible by modern standards with drum brakes (hydraulic front, rod actuated rear, would do almost 90 mph on its cross-ply tyres, but it sure made one aware of other traffic and to look way ahead all the time.
