i first put a battery in my mini that was second hand. when i put it in it worked fine for about 3 days then i didnt use the mini for 2 days and the battery was dead, so i checked all of the lights and things like that and nothing was turned on so i decided it was the battery. So i went out and brought a new battery and the same thing happened, do any of you know what could be draining my battery

get out the multi meter and see if there is any draw off of the battery when the ignition is off

put the multimeter inline on the positive wire to see whether there is any draw

yep. Connect one end of the ammeter function on a multimeter to the battery + and the other to the battery lead (with the battery not actually connected to the lead of course). You should see 0A. If you do have a drain, then you will see a reading. could be anything really, but give it a go.

What condition is the earth lead from battery to body in?
