Update coming soon. But in the meentime, mini sport asked if they could feature my car on their 'Friday feature' on facebook. How cool , im flattered.

OH  :goaway:  when i saw flinstone mini i was thinking about a mini with stone wheels, a hole in the floor for run it along and a cloth roof!

 

you disappoint me!!!!!

Lack of updates, the usual, life, work etc ;D
 
I have loads of progress to report but no time to add pics. I will follow up shortly.
 
But in the meantime...... the engine is alive. After an initial issue with fueling (new fuel pump had an air lock) she started first turn. Its rough as a badger but it runs. Needs a good timing and tune ( no idea what needle the carb is running)

Can I ask what ratio of paint / thinners you used  50 50?

started at 50/50 and finished with 80% thinner 20 colour%

Nope, she isn't finished just yet, been working on my mk1 mx5.

 

I will do a wee update this Sunday with my current progress, engine tuned, door 1 of 2 fitted, general messing about :lol:
