Hello,

I'm coming to the stage of spraying the car. I can't afford the time & cost to bare metal the car so was wondering whether the lechler primer filler will work over the top of the existing original paint work?

Also I have heard good things about lechler mac 5 1k paint for a top coat. Will I be able to spray this over the 2k lechler green ti?

The cars a monte carlo 94 mini.

If the paintwork is sound then it will cover ok, but you don't need to prime the whole car only areas repaired as new top coat will cover existing good paint with just a grey pad to Matt it off
