Basicly the mini is not running wellat the moment it seems to he misfiring. When i drive the mini amd begin to slow down at at a junction the revs drop and its bery hard to get the revs to pick up even stalls its self. The mini did run great untill a week ago. The points , dizzy cap , plugs and leads replaced 6 months ago. Carb rebuilt aswell. Any help would be great rhe mini is a 998 and a 92 50000,miles

Might not be the original engine though...
Check everything, timing, points gap, plugs (may identify that the mixture is wrong) adjust the idle speed on the carb if it is too low etc. Check for air leaks

I would be rechecking the points gap as my first point of call, then the plugs, then see how it runs if those setting require attention, like points closed up? then look at the cap for cracking inside and anything else obvious. Does it crank over on 4 cylinders ? if its weak on some cylinders could be head gasket troubles.
