The 75 has soft suspension to soak up the lovely British roads
The V6 has 3 belts to change..2cambelts I think? And auxiliary belt
Think 500pound is classed as cheap/reasonable for a full belt change
I nearly bought a ZT for myself but being 20 literally can't insure any car I like for a good price, sticking with the metro for now :)

I've got one for sale at the moment if you're interested... MG ZT 190 - 2.5 v6 190hp.... not often you can buy a car which will do 140mph for throwaway money...

02 MG ZT 190 in Solar Red. 99k
Tax to 30/06/15, MOT to 16/07/15 no advisories.
4 New tyres on asuka racing wheels, fill the arches nicely.
Xenon Headlights, cambelts done
Din head unit ( original system and CD deck supplied with car )
Usual wear on drivers seat.
Goes like stink
No cost driving ( apart from petrol until July next year )
£1300
3 cambelts on the V6, one main one at the front of the engine and then 1 on each bank to run the second cam on the head. Quad cam V6, and yes a cambelt change will cost somewhere between 600 and 1k, so when ever you buy one make sure they have been done... should be done every 90k miles or 6 years.
I've owned this one for about 6 months, and whatever you do don't strike any comparison between a rover 75 and an MGZT even though they are the same piece of metal, the bits which matter underneath are somewhat different... especially on the 190
