My charger doesn't whine as much as I originally expected. Ditto on the RR suggestion

Blowing the engine up? Only with idiots who don't set it up properly.

I'll personally be going down the SC route once insurance has gone down a bit.

Blowing up engines isn't down to the supercharger, it's more than likely the poor timing/fuel set up.

I will admit when i ran my supercharger i had a fair few problems but i have had the same with my turbo set up. Forced induction is never that easy or simple.

Just make sure you get it set up correctly and you shouldn't have any problems with it.

Guys,

Do any companies make the brackets and tensioner systems for the eaton charger on an A series? It looks factory on those pics!

I'd stay away from Jonspeed, look at the trouble myself and others have had and you'll see why!

I would go for it,  I started with a Vmax kit and then upgraded it to my personal needs. Carb icing was the main problem i suffered with initially. Not sure they are suited to long runs on the motorway.

Found loads of good advice on here

Hey Snowman,

I know it's been years but looking to slap on a Jonspeed supercharger on my mini over here in Canada - what did you end up doing and at the end of the day worth the costs?
