well i tried it and worked a treat. Then used a normal tablet to flush out dishwasher and is cleaner than when i started just off to use the oven to dry the newly painted parts!

Best to make sure the Wife/Girlfriend/Partner is on holiday when you do that as the paint smell can kind of linger for a few days like a good curry can.

I have a bank of dishwashers for cleaning cases.... I probably trash 2 or 3 a year, but when you can buy them off ebay for £20-30 quid, much cheaper than industrial parts washers.
Avoid oven cleaners on aluminium, it will stain/corrode them, and also check the ingredients in dishwasher tabs aswell.... Some 'industrial' ones are too caustic, I find tesco cheapy ones are about spot on.
Don't put anything really dirty in, it'll just coat the inside of the dishwasher, everything which goes in mine have been chemically cleaned and jet washed before they go in.

mums the one to look outfor. Lucky theyre away for 2 more days. Probably explains why im single! Any takesrs?!!! :-p
