How do,
Over the past few week ive noticed that ive been putting quite a bit of effort into braking, where i think before this time i didn't really have to. (might be down to the fact im driving harder and faster, lol)
Just wanted to know if theres a sure fire way of checking if the brake servo is working correctly, or if theres anything that needs renewing on it after certain amounts of time.
Cheers,
Nate

Easy way is to disconnect the pipe fom the servo (other end goes to the inlet manifold) somehow plug it or the engine will run way too lean and then go for a gentle drive and see if the braking feels any different!
If you are used to a servo then non-servo brakes will feel awful !!!!

Or, rather than playing around with the servo pipe, blanking off the inlet manifold and then driving with an incomplete brake setup:
With the engine turned off, pump the brake pedal until it feels nice and hard (maybe 3 pumps).
Then start the engine up and see how the pedal behaves. You should feel the pedal go down a little more when you start the engine up and the servo kicks in.

As MMM says, pump the pedal til it goes hard (engine off), with your foot on the pedal start the engine... You should feel the pedal sink. If it does not, your servo is fubar...
(ps this works on ANY car)

aiiii, you'll see the MOT tester doing it as part of his test.
