I need to bleed my metro turbo brakes...there are 3 bleed nippples on each i believe, i can't find anything about it on the forum, on the internet and i don't have a metro haynes.

Can anyone tell me which bleed nipple(s) i need to use, they obviously have the mini brake conversion so they use a single hose but i guess this does'nt make any difference when bleeding?

Thanks in advance

Aint there a routine, like bleed the bottom one first, then the top one? I also thought there were two bleed nipples not too.

I don't know for sure though, never done it from memory, best wait for a better answer ;)

work away from the pipe and upwards, so outside lower, inside lower, top.

it'll take ya 5 minutes! Once the fluid has bascially filled the caliper with the first screw being bled, the rest will take 10 seconds each!

Not sure about dual circuit bleeders! I've not used one! ;) I wouldn't have thought it necessary.

BUGGER!!!

twas just doing up one of the three nipples and its snapped off!!!

Ok, usually i would just attempt to drill it out but is this a bad idea given the sealing nature of the screw and hole? Additionally, this nipple when attempting to bleed from it, was just allowing the brake fluid to seep out the thread and ignoring the fact there was the bleeder on it.....does this just suggest that it was rotten and corroded in the first place?

Does anyone know if when you purchase a reconditioned caliper (exchange) it includes pistons etc? Im guessing not!?

I would imagine so! It should be fully rebuilt, so seals, pistons, nipples etc.....

And would this be yours (& others') recommendation as to a route to take? Given that i could probably definately do with new pistons anyway.

Can/should i attempt to repair?

i'd price 'em up first. If you use a bolt extractor, you may be able to get the nipple out. Then a full seal and piston kit plus new nipples wouldn't be more than £40 I would think.

I guess it all depends on that nipple though.
