Two of these http://www.ebay.co.u...=item53e3c86de8

Only works if you've got the hook type wiper arms

I have fine tuned my land rover ones now, the trick is to scoop out the metal in the cups so they push on further so the bonnet will open.

That's exactly what I did

Absolutely great, can't see why anyone would pay £35 for some worn out Rover ones to be honest!

I'm looking for some hook arm wiper blades. You say land rover defender ones will fit???
Can some one put up a link to the wiper arms please.
Many thanks in advance.
Bri

These are the ones I used http://www.ebay.co.u...=item4d18c709da

How well do these arms fit on the minis wiper spindles?

I don't really care too much about the arms catching  the bonnet, as all mini wiper arms do this if the bonnet is open too far anyway. As my 'genuine' rover ones are so worn they are currently superglued to the spindles.

Hi
I'm in the same boat. My original mini ones fell off last week while i was driving and i ran over one of them! I've ordered some new wheel box fittings as the splines were smooth and had hardly any teeth left. After reading this forum I've just ordered a set of the landrover arms but which wipers are the best fit without much modification. Someone has mentioned the Bosch SP11 and someone else the aero blades.
Any advice welcome as to be honest I just want the ones that will work the best and not fall off !
Thanks.

I also got the landy arms, bent mine in all sorts of places! should probably get some more and make them look straight..  put them with the bosch sp11, awesome combination I can actually see out the window just cant open the bonnet too high.

is there an adjustment on the wipers? Mine are set up with landy hook type arms (bent perfectly) with 11" blades, yet the O/S arm hits the bottom of the screen AND the side. :(

I have always had issues with the wipers on every Mini i have ever owned. They just don't work lol!

Going to try the Land Rover arms and the Sp11 blades if you guys all think they work well. Are the eBay ones the best option or are there better vendors of the real things?

How did you get on with the SP11 blades?

My partner is having terrible trouble with wiper blades on her Cooper Sport MPI. She currently has the wider stronger arms which seem to have made difference at all. We have tried several manufacturers of blade and all are terrible. The MPI seems to be particularly bad. under heavy rain they remove water from the very top and bottom and just smear the centre which is bit you need clear lol.
